Big Yellow

Big fish get big because they do not get side-tracked. Maybe we can learn something from them.

Jumping Fish

I have seen fish jump out of water before, but not out of a garden!

Diamond Fish

Why not a Diamond fish, seems like a good idea to me!

Chicken Fish

Crazy idea for a new fish!

Marsh View with Outdoor Sculptures

This is what inspires me to create These tall vertical sculptures. Each blade of Marsh Grass is an original abstract work of art; put them all together and you have a plein air sculpture landscape ready for 2D artists to copy.

New Art for 2011

Check out whats new in sculpture in 2011. This site is updated weekly for your enjoyment. These new abstract metal sculptures look like marsh grass of monumental proportions. You know looking back, and seeing that all five of these sold, tells me that I am on the right track; first on is in Florida, the second is in Virginia, the third is in South Carolina, the forth is in Georgia, and last but not least "Blue Yonder Flower" is in Texas.

Industrial Scrap Metal being Recycled

If you look carefully you can find inspiration in a scrap metal yard; it is kind-a-like finding a diamond in the rough. These metal trimmings are about to become a new steel sculpture. My assistant Isaiah Flowers is cutting away the pieces I need for my next metal sculpture.

Sparks Fly when your having fun

My apprentice is focused on cleaning up the welds on my newest abstract metal table sculpture. It was made from scrap metal provided by Mid-Carolina Recycling in Columbia, SC.

New Table Sculpture

This sculpture was made from some steel I recycled from the Mid-Carolina steel recycling in Columbia, SC. Inspiration for new sculptures can be found anywhere and everywhere. I do not like my artwork to be called: found art, even though sometimes a piece of metal can be repurposed and used in a sculptural creation. Recycling and repurposing of metal is a good thing for the environmnet and it saves energy. I think we should all recycle, Reuse, and Repurpose, and let us not forget compost our leaves, grass clippings and kitchen scraps. I hate it when people Burn these items, burning is just lazy and thoughtless.

This Sculpture will be installed in a Courtyard so

This 12 foot tall abstract sculpture is made from quarter inch thick aluminum and is powder coated with a heavy orange textured.

In the Moment

These Birds do not care about last minute, week, last year, they are just in the moment. They are not missing anything, how about you?

Is this the next great Sculptress?

My daughter Tammy, is really enjoying some time with dad in the studio.
