Sculpture By Stephen Kishel

This sculpture was made from automotive parts that have more to do with Horse Power than metal sculpture. When I found these short steel tubes at the scrap metal yard I did not know what I was going to make out of them, but I felt they could make a pretty interesting abstract metal sculpture. The tubes already had steel rings welded to each end of the tube and they were near perfect welds, it would great to put these to a use in a welded steel sculpture, so I loaded up a five gallon bucket and took them to my art studio. Then they got pushed into a corner and I forgot about them for about six months. When I discovered them again, it was like they spoke to me, they did not really speak, but I just knew that they could become a horse, and a few horse later they did!
